It is finally off of the pins and carpet. It is amazing how long it takes me to remember to block something. This is the Birds Eye/Curving Spider Shawl from the class I took last September/October. The blocking may not be up to par but I only have so many pins. I think 150 to be exact. What is a girl to do? Maybe, I should beg for a blocking frame. I know someone who could make one.
The photos show the border and give some idea of how the color flows. Just to review, the yarn is Kuni and fingering rather than lace weight. I think the dip in water helped the feel. It was a touch scratchy before.
I would probably do a couple of things different if I did another but all in all I am happy with it.
