Recently, I attended a dyeing workshop and had a great time. It was sponsored by the Knitting Guild of Denver and held at Tactile. We used worsted weight Bare from Knit Picks. I chose to do two skeins, figuring if I was doing one why not two.The dyes used were Wilton Icing Dyes and they were set with vinegar. Just as a note, the color on the bottle top is not necessarily what you get. Both of the skeins I did reminded people of Florida. For the first one, I picked Christmas red, turquoise blue, and a yellow. For the second one, I just used what was left in my bottles and borrowed some purple and green. So, yes the salmon pink is really Christmas red. It is a bit brighter in person than in the pictures.
