I think only a few people know that I have a cell phone that has a contract. Possibly because it is rarely on. Plus I got it in March.
I am now dealing with the delights of having a number that belonged to someone else. That someone seems to be Steve. At least three people don't believe I am not Steve when they call. They get sent to voice mail which I am pretty sure I put my name on it.
Yes, both of us have names that start with S but I think the similarities end there. I don't know about hardboard insulation. At least not enough, that anyone would want to talk to me about it. Also, there was a message from a slightly flirtatious female. I would really prefer, he got these messages.
They could be mis-dials. In which case, I am still wondering why the caller would leave a message for a person whose name doesn't match the voice mail ID.
Let's all promise to not leave messages for someone who isn't mentioned on the voice mail unless that person has assured us that the owner of the number is O.K. with it.

On mother's day I received a call from an unknown number. The lady just said, "Hi, listen, listen!" and then she held the phone for me to hear some nice piano playing for quite some time. I'm thinking, who the heck is this? She came back on, and I did indeed say, "who is this?" but she talked right over the top of me, "He's self-taught, you know, what a talented boy!" So I managed another who is it, but she was holding the phone up for me to hear the piano. She came on again and said, "I just wanted to let you know I'm thinking of you and I love you!" So I said, "I love you too, bye bye!" and hung up.
