Thanks to a fellow spinner and knitter, I ended up with a little bit of yellow Vermont raised BFL lamb/alpaca roving. It was really sticky. My guess, is it thought about felting when it was dyed plus there was still a lot of lanolin in it.
I ripped the roving into splinters. And then let it clump when it wanted to while doing the inch worm style of drafting to provide control. For plying, I wound a two tailed ball and plied off both ends. There was a fun tangle towards the end of plying. I always put overspin in the singles. One count had 78 yards and another 66.
Sometime, I will decide between a hat or wrist warmers. Then the yellow and dark green will meet.
